  1. Choose the manner in which incoming and outgoing documents will be converted.

  3. Enter a 4 character token representing the application you wish to open incoming documents.
  4. Examples:
  5.  ttxt = TeachText
  6.  R*ch = BBEdit (a good free editor)
  7.  
  8. If you do not happen to know what to enter, try using the ‚ÄúSet Document Type‚Ķ‚Äù button.

  10. Enter a 4 character token representing the assumed format of incoming documents. 
  11. Examples:
  12.  TEXT = a standard text file
  13.  GIFf = a gif file
  14.  
  15. If you do not happen to know what to enter, try using the ‚ÄúSet Document Type‚Ķ‚Äù button.

  17. Brings up a standard file dialog box to allow selection of either an application to open incoming documents or a document of the same type.

  19. This information will be placed in the creator and type fields.

  21. Click here to enable the sending of 1024 character data packets. This should speed transmission up a little.

  23. Click here to disable the sending of 1024 character data packets; 128 character data packets will be used instead.

  25. Click here to enable the use of the faster, if less stable YModem-g when receiving.

  27. This options seems to work well over clean, slow connections or over lightly burdened network connections.

  29. Click here to disable the use of YModem-g streaming mode when receiving.

  31. Click here to save the current settings in the ‚ÄúYModem GH Prefs‚Äù file. In the future, when this tool is newly selected, it will have these parameters.

  33. Click here to activate the CTB autoreceive option. If your application supports this mode, this tool will automatically activate itself in receiving mode when a special character sequence is received.

  35. The sequence is selectable from the ‚Äútrigger‚Äù menu.

  37. Click here to deactivate CTB autoreceive.

  39. Click here to automatically modify sent document names so that non-macintosh file systems will have less trouble with them.

  41. Click here to send the same filename as is on your disk.
